約翰福音讀後–9:4-9:6之二：

9:4 [hb5] 趁 著 白 日 、 我 們 必 須 作 那 差 我 來 者 的 工 ． 黑 夜 將 到 、 就 沒 有 人 能 作 工 了 。
[kjv] I must work the works of him that sent me, while it is day: the night cometh, when no man can work.
9:5 [hb5] 我 在 世 上 的 時 候 、 是 世 上 的 光 。
[kjv] As long as I am in the world, I am the light of the world.
9:6 [hb5] 耶 穌 說 了 這 話 、 就 吐 唾 沫 在 地 上 、 用 唾 沫 和 泥 抹 在 瞎 子 的 眼 睛 上 、
[kjv] When he had thus spoken, he spat on the ground, and made clay of the spittle, and he anointed the eyes of the blind man with the clay,

考考大家，我是「世上的光」曾在這福音書出現，在那裡？

9:5節乃第二次以耶穌以「世上的光」來自稱，第一次可見於8:12節：
8:12 [hb5] 耶 穌 又 對 眾 人 說 、 我 是 世 界 的 光 ． 跟 從 我 的 、 就 不 在 黑 暗 裡 走 、 必 要 得 著 生 命 的 光 。
[kjv] Then spake Jesus again unto them, saying, I am the light of the world: he that followeth me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life.

在這裏，特別是第四福音，黑暗喩比罪惡。全句話的意思就是「我是世界的光，跟從我的，就不在罪惡裡走，必要得著生命的光。」換句話說，就是跟從耶穌，就能出罪惡得生命，行在光中。所以我們可以說耶穌是世上的光。既然耶穌是世上的光，我們理當反省自己，是否由耶穌處得生命？

不單是喻意的，連生來是瞎眼的都使他得看見。聖經繼續講下去：「耶 穌 說 了 這 話 、 就 吐 唾 沫 在 地 上 、 用 唾 沫 和 泥 抹 在 瞎 子 的 眼 睛 上 、」我真是不明白，為何耶穌用如此方法去醫治這瞎子。其實，作為人子也是神，祂可以一命令，事情就必成就。故此，為什麼耶穌如此行呢？現代人可能會覺得很不衛生很污穢，但當時的人就有另一種的看法。你知道嗎？(待續)
